Lorde, the Daughter of the Sea‑God, was betrayed by her husband Demos and her handmaiden Chloris, who cast her off the cliffs of Mount Olympus. As she lay dying, she finally learned that Helios, the deposed Sun‑God, had always loved her deeply — and he traded his divine status for her rebirth.
